AU/NL national

I am a Photographer and Visual Artist based in Naarm/Melbourne AU.

I believe that artwork should be a tangible thing (not just content), so I love to share and sell my work across different print medias.

Some FAQ

What's the go with shipping?
I offer free standard shipping with Australia Post (with tracking). From printing to postage, please allow up to 14 business days for your order from date of purchase.

$10 express shipping from Australia Post (with tracking) is also available for more urgent orders. From printing to postage, please allow up to 7 business days for your order from date of purchase

All orders are packed in either sturdy cardboard flatpacks or cylinders (dependent on size and quantity).

Why are your prints made to order? Do you have stock?
Unfortunately the choice in making prints to order is a matter of $$$. The reality is many image makers lose money and do not make returns from selling prints. From time to time I will have a few prints here and there in stock - which will be specified in the product description.

Where do you print your work?
My go-to is Thirds Fine Art Printing. They offer supreme quality Giclée prints that look and feel photographic. Most of the time, they will also ship your orders directly from the lab.

Which scanner do you use?
I use an Imacon Flextight Photo, and occassionally will scan with a Noritzu at my local lab Hillvale Photo. Please support them, they're legends.

What camera(s) do you use?

Most of my work is shot on a Mamiya 645, my staple for over 14 years. Other cameras currently in rotation are a Nikon F100 and a Nikon 35TI.

OK, how about film stocks?
I used to use Ektar (100) for a lot of older works, producing that fine grain, high contrast and high saturation. These days, I prefer using Portra (160/400) and Gold (200). It's a little less... punishing. For slide film, I use E100.

The AI question, do you use it?
I will from time to time correct a corner, remove a small distracting detail - and obviously when working with negatives/slide - you need to remove dust. Other than that, I do not use AI generation in my work. In other words, I use some for removal within the confines of Lightroom and Photoshop, but never to add or generate. It's all me.
